Zimdancehall music has been a popular genre of music in Zimbabwe, copied from Jamaica. While there are many good artists who produce high quality music, most Zimdancehall songs today are garbage. Zimdancehall songs are poorly done , usually full of terrible or meaningless lyrics. This music has a negative influence on young children. It promotes drug abuse, alcoholism, violence and having multiple sexual partners. Is there a future to Zimdancehall? Is it a dying genre? Should parents’ encourage their kids to become Zimdancehall artists? All these are important questions that this video raises.

what you are say my sister is 100% correct and i share the same sentiments, however i dont think there is anything wrong with our kids aspiring to be zimdancehall artist coz inspite of all these bad influences we still have some good zimdancehall songs, you gave an killer t as an example. what i think needs to be done is to have frameworks for guidance and support to these zimdancehall artist. to educate them to know that gud lyrical content sells better and is by far much more sustaining that dirty lyrics and sexually explicit videos.

Hi Zimbo Spirited. Good you made a vid about music's bad influence. All secular music is trash. It's mostly about sex, drugs and alcohol.
I appreciate ZimDH because it actually opened opportunities for people who would just bulk up the list of unemployed people. Look at all other industries around it that have benefited.
